Aroma Indian Grill & Bar now open in RedStone

Last month we were saddened by the news that Red Rocks Cafe would leave its large 5,700 square foot space in RedStone. With the area in desperate need for more fine and casual dining options, Red Rocks Cafe owner John Lover gifted us with the news that they had already found a new restaurant to replace them.

Aroma Indian Grill & Bar quietly opened on November 24th proudly claiming that they are “the largest Indian restaurant in the Greater Charlotte Area.”

Their large menu is a curated assortment of Indian delicacies ranging from the robust flavors of the North to the zesty spices of the South. It features soups (must try: the Sweet Corn Soup), curries, Biryani, Tawa and Chat Specials, Tandoori Grill dishes, fresh bread (must try: the Garlic Naan), desserts and more.

“Everything is made fresh,” says General Manager Kiran. “Nothing is frozen.” Kiran added that they have many spicy and non-spicy options.

The full bar includes signature drinks inspired by Indian flavors. Our favorites are:

  • Mowgli (Bourbon, Spiced Jaggery, and Coconut Water)
  • Manog Margarita (Tequila, Lime, Simple Syrup, Chili Salt Lime, House Special Masala and Mango Puree)
  • Paan-E-Man (Fresh Betel Leaves, Gulkand, Bombay Sapphire Gin, and Ginger)

Aroma is the second restaurant venture for Owner Siva Kondamadugula , who also owns Biryani Pot in Concord.
